Antique Vintage German Pull String Whistle Ephemera 1910 Era Halloween Decor

Antique party whistles, c. early 20th century. This ephemeral object somehow survived for over a century. The whistle has a hand-painted face ( missing paint) and frown-like cutout mouths attached to string (which can be pulled to adjust the volume of sound). Paper mache head attached to a 2 1/4" extended tin pipe. It does make a whistle sound when blowing through it and opening the flap. I have only used this for Halloween decoration.
